Graduate Programme


Academic staff of UCD ERG supervise students wishing to undertake Research Masters and PhD's on a range of related topics. Graduates to date have gone on to take up positions in both academic institutions and in industry including Loughborough University, Queens University, Tecnalia, Ove Arup & Partners and the Building Research Establishment.

If you are interested in pursuing a MArchSc (by Research) or a PhD with UCD ERG you are invited to submit a short outline of your proposed research and a current curriculum vitae to erginfo@ucd.ie.

Masters of Architectural Science (MArchSc) Taught Masters Programme in Sustainable Building Design & Performance.

In September 2013, UCD ERG will launch a new Taught Masters graduate programme in Sustainable Building Design & Performance. Supporting a wide range of topics, the programme will build on the experience of UCD ERG in pursuing novel and innovative research.

The programme is an integral part of a wider programme of taught masters education at the UCD School of Architecture. Students will work alongside others in the Conservation & Heritage, Urban Design and Landscape Architecture taught masters programmes in a truly integrated and multidisclipinary educational environment.
